Prince of Peace Childcare Program
Prince of Peace Childcare provides a faith based environment for your children to learn and grow. Prince of Peace Childcare provides a loving, safe "home away from home" for children whose parents choose to delegate partial care to our skilled and compassionate staff. We are licensed by the Department of Education and provide activity-based Christian Childcare.
Our Childcare Program is housed in our north building. Our children also enjoy an age-appropriate playground for outdoor time.
Ages: Infants through five years old.
Times: Monday through Friday 7am – 5:30pm We operate on the Prince of Peace Catholic School academic-year calendar.
Costs:
1/2 day (up to 5 hours) $22.00
Full day (more than 5 hours) $40.00
4 Year Old Preschool
Curriculum
Prince of Peace Preschool uses the research based "Creative Curriculum" as recommended by the Iowa Quality Preschool Programs Standards. Your child will build knowledge and skills while learning about the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and more through age-appropriate lessons and activities. Four and five year olds will receive instruction necessary to prepare them for success in kindergarten.
Days: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
Morning Time: 7:45am - 10:45am
Afternoon Time: 11:45am - 2:45pm
Cost: No cost for most State of Iowa residents
$250 per month for others
Clinton & Jackson County Empowerment scholarships may be available for income qualified families.
Children must be four years old by September 15th.
