About
Prince of Peace Catholic School provides a comprehensive, faith-based education for students in pre-school through 12th grade. The school is located in Clinton, Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River and is home to approximately 25,000 residents.

The history of Catholic education in Clinton is rich and steeped in tradition. The first Catholic School in our community opened in 1852 in a church basement and the first parochial school building was built in 1864. From these humble beginnings and the efforts of innumerable dedicated religious and lay teachers, we now focus our attention on our parish school 170 years later. Kindergarten through 12th grade accreditation by Cognia and the Iowa Department of Education together with a high school college preparatory curriculum establishes the school as a local leader in academics, faith formation, and personal growth of students.

Offering a choice in education, Prince of Peace Catholic School serves families and students from the Clinton, Camanche, Northeast, North Scott and Easton Valley school districts in Iowa as well as from Fulton, Thomson, Albany, Morrison, Prophetstown-Lyndon and Mt. Carroll in Illinois.

Prince of Peace Catholic School is supported through the stewardship of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace Parish members, the school Foundation, tuition, and development initiatives. Active and registered parish members enrolling their children at Prince of Peace Catholic School will receive tuition discounts.

Welcoming families and students of all faiths, Prince of Peace Catholic School continues to provide the academic excellence in a faith-based environment that is the long standing tradition of Catholic education in Clinton, Iowa.
