Irish Booster Club

Mission: The mission of the Irish Athletic Booster Club is to provide financial assistance to all Irish athletic programs through fundraising, and to promote good sportsmanship within our teams, coaches, and fans.

Athletic Teams: Prince of Peace Catholic School strives to offer as many sports as possible for our student athletes in grades 7-12. When it is not possible to offer a particular sport, we enter into a cooperative agreement with another school. The Irish Athletic Booster club will pay the costs charged by the cooperative school.

The following is a list of sports offered either at Prince of Peace Catholic School, or through a cooperative agreement: Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Track, Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Swimming, Golf, Softball, and Cheerleading.

​

Irish Athletic Booster Club Membership: All parents are welcome and there is no membership fee. Booster Club meetings take place monthly at times determined by the Booster Club President.

​

All parents of Irish student athletes are expected to participate in Irish Booster Club fundraising efforts to the best of their abilities.

Volunteer Opportunities

We may be small, but we are mighty. Prince of Peace Administration and parents agree that our students benefit from athletic opportunities. Students develop skills such as teamwork, fair play, being a gracious winner, and facing defeat. Students learn the benefits of challenging themselves physically and mentally through competition. Money for our athletic program comes from fundraising.

Become an involved parent and join the Irish Athletic Booster Club. All school parents are invited to meetings and to participate by volunteering. Here are some volunteer opportunities:

  • Concession Worker

  • Admission Gate Worker

  • Gym Clean-Up Crew

  • Gym Maintenance/Project Crew

  • Fundraising Event Worker

  • …and more.

As a volunteer, you will teach your children it is important to give of your time, meet new parents, and support activities that are valuable to you child.
