Good luck tonight to the HS boys and girls track teams at Central City! Meet starts at 4:00.
The results from Tuesday’s MS track meet are in: Liam Bellich finished 1st in the 200 M dash, Kyler Leslie finished 3rd in the 800 M, Heaven Powell finished first in the 200 M hurdles and 400 M dash, Max Smith finished 2nd in the 100 M hurdles and 200 M hurdles, Taylor Evans finished 1st in the high jump, Claire Kenneavy finished 2nd in shotput and discus, Aven Leslie finished 1st in the 200 M dash, and Heaven, Aven, Taylor, and Mallory finished first in the 4x100.
Juniors and Seniors: We hope to see you all at this year's Prom on Saturday, May 13th from 8-11 p.m. at The Rusty Barrel! It costs just $10 a person, which covers the dance and dessert bar! Please prepay in the office by next Wednesday, 5/10. Out of school date forms can be picked up in the office and must be returned by next Wednesday, 5/10.
Anyone interested in joining Chess Club see Mrs. Burke. First meeting is after school on Thursday in the HS library.
Freshmen and Sophomores: There is a service hours opportunity on Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 AM. See Mrs. Burke to sign up.
The second fundraiser for Gateway After Prom will be held at Applebee's - all day during their business hours on Tuesday May 9th. GAP will receive a portion of the sales from the We Care Menu (5 entrees) the whole day. Your support of businesses that offer fundraisers is appreciated - either by eating at the restaurant or ordering carryout. Gateway After Prom is a volunteer committee composed of parents from Clinton, Fulton and Prince of Peace High schools. The purpose of GAP is to provide a fun event after Prom ends. Those eligible to attend GAP include students attending Prom and any Junior or Senior in good standing that wishes to attend. Gateway After Prom will be held May 13th beginning at 11PM at Clinton Middle School. Note the change in venue! Students should enter and park on the Athletic Events side of the Middle School.
