Dear Prince of Peace Parish School Parents,

As members of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, you are invited to apply for the Parish Stewardship Tuition Rate for the 2011/2012 school year. New this coming school year will be “no-tuition kindergarten” for students of Prince of Peace Parish families who practice stewardship!

Prince of Peace Catholic School is available in Clinton due to the support of the entire Prince of Peace Parish. Over 50% of our annual offertory income goes to support Prince of Peace Catholic School. This will amount to over $500,000 in the coming school year. For Kindergarteners, this will amount to over $4,600 per student. Other classes will average over $2,300 per student.

In light of this, it is especially important for families who benefit from our Parish support of Catholic education to be actively involved in the life of our Parish.

As Catholics, each of us is called to practice stewardship. This means that we pray and attend Mass regularly (the stewardship gift of time); that we take part in some form of ministry or service (the stewardship gift of talent); and that we share a percent of our financial income with our parish (the stewardship gift of treasure).

Statistics show that parents who are committed to stewardship in their parish tend to raise their children in the same way. On-going involvement with the Church is essential if the Catholic Faith is to be passed on to future generations.
