Several types of financial aid may be available to you.
New Student Grant – Grants are available for all new tuition paying students in the 2011-2012 school year. Grants for tuition paying students in kindergarten through 8th grades is $500. Grants for students in 9th through 12th grades is $750. For students that enter after the beginning of the school will have their grant prorated.
School Tuition Organization (STO) – This is an income qualifying tuition award. This funding is based on Iowa Tax Credits, therefore, only Iowa residents areeligible for this funding source.
Scholarships - Prince of Peace School Foundation awards over 15 named scholarships in the spring of each year for the following school year. Scholarship applications are sent to each 8th – 11th grade student around March 1st.
Hardship Tuition Assistance – Prince of Peace School Foundation provides unrestricted funding to the school to be used for tuition assistance. These funds are set aside for families who experience a hardship that makes it impossible for them to make their tuition payments. This may be families with extraordinary medical costs, loss of an income, or other family crisis. Funds are limited. To be considered for these funds the parent/guardian must write a letter explaining the situation and send it to Mrs. Peart, Principal.
For all forms of financial aid, the family must complete a Financial Aid Application and send it, with requested attachments, to the address on the form.
