Prince of Peace Students at School dances, plays and school events

SCRIP

SCRIP is a major school fundraiser. All school families benefit from the proceeds raised by the SCRIP program. It is important that all school families participate to the level that they can. There is no extra cost to you, just simply purchase SCRIP before you purchase your groceries, gas, gifts, etc.

What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is simply exchanging cash for store gift cards/certificates. You exchange them dollar for dollar, so there is no additional cost to you.

How does the school raise money through the SCRIP program?
We are able to purchase SCRIP at a reduced cost. The difference between what we purchase it for and what we sell it for (face value) is our profit.

How can I purchase it?
We have some SCRIP on hand. When you purchase it, you will immediately receive the gift card. We can also order SCRIP from hundreds of stores. To do this print, the prepaid order form, complete and send to school with your payment. Orders are made every Sunday evening and we usually receive the orders by the next Tuesday or Wednesday (delivery can take longer around the holidays).

If you are making any home improvements, making large purchases, or planning a vacation, please contact Karen Witt at 242-1663 first and see if there is an opportunity to use SCRIP.

Where and when can I purchase SCRIP?
You can purchase SCRIP in the school during office hours and after all weekend Masses at Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace Church. SCRIP is also sold at school events.

How can I help?

You can help by;

  1. Purchasing SCRIP,
  2. Become a SCRIP volunteer. We need volunteers to sell SCRIP after weekend Masses and at school events. To volunteer, call Maureen Vander Bleek at 242-7139
  3. Get your friends and families in the habit of purchasing SCRIP for their daily, weekly, and monthly purchases.
